In comparison to low density foam, 2.2 high density foam will allow furniture to soften and expand more gradually. Before it needs to be replaced, 2.2 high density foam will last 5 to 10 years.

Are 2.2 High Density Foams Eco-Friendly

Biotechnology companies like Cargill extract greener polyols for making foam. More and more products are using the company’s soy-based polyols. Testing has revealed that the foam created from soybean oil satisfies the same requirements for density and flexibility as traditional FPF. When its useful life is through, this alternative foam can be recycled, but it is just as combustible and biodegradable as regular foam.
