Very well constructed bed. The color of the wood is even better in person. Very happy with this purchase!

We love the darker color of the wood and the lower profile of the headboard. Assembly was easy.

Beautiful furniture, study, with only a challenge to get the middle support beam positioned and attached the the mattress support slates. The beam does not attach to the headboard or footboard and it is a balancing act to hold the foot under the slate and insert the bolt from the top to secure then both. If I have large hands it would present a significant problem. Attthem and then place the entire slate piece into the bed frame is impossible alone, and would be difficult getting the slate in the correct angle to get past the top of the bed frame and seated on the proper side rails. Everything was very well packaged for shipping.
