The 4 stars and not 5 is because the head board is a bit flimsy and I did not like how the mattress fits inside the frame instead of flush on top. Very difficult to put sheets on a very mattress. Hard to get your hands under the mattress to lift it up.

Very solid, heavy frame. Looks great. Only complaint is there were no pilot holes drilled for the slats nor the L-brackets. I know how to do that stuff and have all the tools, but many people would not have what is necessary for assembly.

i have bought 3 of these now. i like the look. the head board is not very study at its attachment points but i add 4 additional long screws and washers to better secure it. the bed isn't hard to assemble but the instructions are terrible

The bed is beautiful and exactly the style I wanted. The photos on the website are accurate. However, installation was not as smooth sailing as it should have been. There were no pilot holes for the brackets or wooden slats, so I had to drill those first before I could assemble the bed. The instructions were a little hazy; they could be written better. I'm not sure I like that everything is screwed together. It will be very difficult to move to a new apartment when I decide to move.
