3330 Modern Black Leather 4 Piece Sectional Sofa Set

Product Review (submitted on March 7, 2014):

I want to spend a little time letting you get familiar with this sectional since I went into buying it with no reviews. First, let me start with the design. The sectional is very modern, it is low to the ground and fits well with almost all modern furniture. Next, the sectional is pretty comfortable for modern furniture. Now, do not expect it to be a lazy-boy comfort, but the back rests are very plush, the seat is a little on the firmer side (although not uncomfortable, and it might be b/c it is still very new) and the coffee table sits just high enough to kick your feet on it. This brings up my second point, the feet rests are very nice, however don't seem to fit very well unless you move the coffee table completely to one side or the other. The headrests are great! I wish they provided more than just 2 though or made one for the whole couch. The headrest really makes it nice to play video games or watch a long movie and not strain your neck. The part that I really like is the corner piece. When you're alone it is great just to kick back on and have your feet up towards either side (I am 6'2" and it accommodates me well on both sides). The arm rests are okay, you should put some throw pillows in corners to soften them though. Next is the leather. Yes, it is real leather where your body touches the furniture (read the leather option though, I think there are 3 different ones to choose from). So the arm rests, back support, bottom support, top of the foot rests are all top grain leather... I would describe the leather quality as something they would put in a sport or luxury car, it really is high quality top grain leather. The rest of the couch is bonded leather or some kind of leather match. It is matched very, very well with the leather. The coffee table obviously is not leather, it is some kind of bonded material, although like the back of the couch, it is matched very well and provides a little more support for cups and things than leather would. Next is size. The sectional is actually a bit smaller than it looks in the picture. This was good for me since I didn't have too much space. The dimensions are accurate but they include the foot stools that hang out half a foot or so. Some other points: the stitching is great! I am very picky about stitches coming out, but this one was done very well and I would say 99% of the stitches are perfectly straight (really adds to the quality since they stand out with white stitching on black leather). The casters on the foot rests really are not that great… they seem to get stuck a lot but its nice that they don't move easily when they are under your legs. The coffee table is completely wrapped in the leather match material, but is very firm so don't worry about a drink tipping over on it. Coffee tables are expensive so this really saves you some money and the worry of trying to match your table to the sectional. The sectional came in several boxes, but was very easy to put together. I did not use a single tool, it hooks on to the corner pieces like most sectionals do and the pillow backs have some very tough velcro that hold it to the body of the sectional, even the foot stools came fully assembled. The head rests can be moved to any seat, they just set on the back of the body of the couch. LA Furniture has a great price on this sectional, I would imagine seeing the same sectional on a show room for the regular price and still consider buying it. The pictures really do not do a justice, I will try to post a customer picture on LA Furniture's website too. Shipping did cost more $ for me and did take about 3-4 weeks from my oder date. Overall, I would recommend this couch! It is an awesome piece to look at, comfortable and wows guests!
