How the shipping procedure works

Once we have your order, receive some type of payment for the furniture, we begin the process of expediting it from the warehouse onto a freight truck. Freight truck companies are not affiliated with LA Furniture Store. When we ship it out of warehouse it usually takes 1-5 days if that item is in stock. Usually products we have in stock takes anywhere from 1-3 weeks to arrive to your location depending on where you live. Los Angeles residents receive it in less than a week because we ship it from here. New York and east coast may take 2-3 weeks to arrive.

Special Order Items

Special order items are not kept in the warehouse. They are shipped from overseas. It takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks for a special order item to come by container to our warehouse. If ordering from Italy, it takes anywhere from 8-10 weeks. From there it will get expedited to your location as soon as the balance from your statement is paid out completely (unless you do financing).

When it ships to your location

When your order ships to your location, upon arrival you should get a call from the delivery company that will schedule an appointment at your convenience to drop off the furniture curb-side or the nearest dry spot closest to your home. We do offer white glove delivery, in different areas we have different rates, please call if you would like to upgrade to white glove delivery. You can read more about it here.

Upon receiving the furniture

Upon receiving your package, DO NOT sign the delivery receipt without first inspecting the boxes. We recommend taking pictures of the boxes with a digital camera before signing anything. This provides some evidence that will later be easier for us to make a claim, in the rare event that your furniture is damaged when you get home and open the packaging. If you see visible damage on the outside of the shipping boxes, it is absolutely necessary that you note it on the delivery receipt before signing it.
